40 Hour Domestic Violence Counselor Training & Certification
- an online course presented by Casa de la Familia (CDLF Counseling)

This training course meets the requirements under California Code 1037.1 as a domestic violence counselor. Upon completion of the 40 HR Domestic Violence course, you will receive a "Certificate of Completion" within the platform. Please email info@casadelafamilia.org if you require an official certificate, which can be complementarily sent electronically through email.

Domestic violence can have severe effects on the victim and his family. The victim of violence can develop emotional problems, usually anxiety or depression, trouble sleeping or nightmares, and even feelings of guilt, frustration, and anger. Casa de la Familia is dedicated to helping these victims, as well as their families. Our team works closely with the community and other mental health professionals to ensure that victims of domestic violence have access to available services.
